- I have two extra modems setting around, and one of them is an
- Intel 14400 External faxmodem. I want to use it on another PC,
- but I don't know which of my two power supplies goes to the
- Intel (the other modem is a Packard Bell 2400). One of the
- power supplies is 6V, the other is 9V. I will probably toast the
- modem if I give it too much juice. I may be able to try the 6V
- without burning it up, but I don't know if it would cause some
- other problem. So...
-
- Is there anybody out there with an Intel 14400EX that could look
- at the power supply and let me know which one they're using?
- The manual says nothing about the power supply, I've had no
- response from their BBS, and they won't talk to me on the phone
- unless I pay them $25 (per incident charge).
-
- Please e-mail if you can.
-
- Thanks in advance!
